Summer is nearly here!

We can't believe how fast spring flew by!

On April 2, we opened the museum doors for the first day of the 2026 season, welcoming guests from near and far to tours of our period rooms and gallery spaces. Then, on April 24, we gathered at G.S. Steamers for our annual Not-So-Silent Auction; your generous and enthusiastic bidding brought new artwork, collectibles, and experiences into your lives and the funds raised will support our ongoing operations and mission to make history yours. Thank you for spending your April with us!

Now we are halfway through May, and the summer is coming fast. Summer is the busiest and brightest season in Oswego county: our calendars quickly fill up with block parties, parades, concerts, and sunsets along the water. We hope you'll make us part of your summer plans and visit the Oswego County Historical Society for a tour, or for one of our many upcoming events.

We hope to see you there!
